CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Ashtanga
Yoga:
An invigorating Yoga practice that is over 100 years old; a set series of postures that will greatly increase your flexibility and leave you sweating. A terrific workout. For those who want to advance their ashtanga practice further and learn more postures try our Ashtanga Full Primary Series class which adds the rest of the fun postures on to complete the series.
Ashtanga Restore Yoga:
Similar to our regular ashtanga classes but with
less vinyasas and more postures to open and strengthen your practice.
SATTVA Yoga
Come explore diverse sequences of Hatha postures. This class is designed to bring balance, inner strength and energize the practitioner. Come deepen your experience of yoga in this class. The class has a dynamic fluid posture flow to open the body. After the practice, we move into a pranayama practice (yogic breathing technique) and we conclude with meditation. This class will leave you blissful!!! The perfect way to end your day.
Beginner Yoga:
No experience necessary. The student will
experience yoga poses, breath awareness and relaxation
Hatha Yoga
Hatha is comprised of physical postures
(asanas), breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation. This
aids the circulatory, nervous, respiratory, hormonal and digestive
systems and purifies and detoxifies the entire body.
Students of all levels welcome. Intermediate level postures
with breathwork. Perfect for those who are comfortable in a
beginner class or have some yoga experience.
Yin Yoga
creates strength & flexibility by lengthening the connective tissues of the body. This is perfect for someone who wants to deepen poses, loosen tight muscles, and where you can develop inner peace by breathing techniques. Gentle
Yoga
A gentle class for those with physical
limitations, chronic ailments as well as beginners who want
a slower class. Working on flexibility, strengthening and breath
awareness.
Pre-Natal Yoga
Registered pre-natal classes are specifically designed to strengthen and increase flexibility, meet the challenges of pregnancy and birth with strength, confidence and calmness and to encourage a positive childbirth experience. Drop-ins are welcome if the classes are not full.
Power Yoga
A fluid moving yoga class designed to increase your strength,stamina, and flexibility. Enjoy the benefits of yoga and a great workout.
Yoga Flow
combines movement and breath and a continuous flow from posture to posture to strengthen and stretch the body
Yoga/Pilates
Yoga / Pilates
offers extra attention to core stbility and spinal alignment while exploring breath & flow through a diverse sequence of moving postures. This class will combine the strength & specificity of Pilates and the focus and introspection of Yoga. Each class will finish in Savasana.
Sunrise Yoga
Good habits are hard to break. Be inspired to practice early in the day, and be the change you wish to see. This class will help strengthen the body, clear the mind and promote a positive well-being overall.
Teen Power Yoga (registered class)
Teen Power Yoga is a dynamic flowing class building strength, flexibility and focus while adding components of yoga philosophy related to a modern teen's life and challenges. This practice is also great for cross-training athletic teens as well as teens looking to get fit. Relaxation & meditation is included at the end of the class.
Recommended for 13-17.
